Michele. I didnt know which forum to ask my questions, I desperately need to know how and where my dad Terry Lyon Is? He comitted suicide this past year by hanging, on may 29 2009. I have been devastated, he tried to call me before he did it, but I did not get the phone in time and when I called back he was in the process and wouldnt answer. I handled his funeral alone with my children and one of his good friends. my mother whom was divorcing him wasnt even there noone, just us. I was close to my dad. Is he around me? what should I watch or feel for? does he have anything he needs me or my kids to know. ?
can you tell him I am waiting for him to come visit me, I love him eternally. Please tell him Michele..I am so heartbroken I felt him and smelled him for about 2-3 weeks after his funeral after that.. Nothing.. I need to feel him around me.. is he okay ? Can you ask him what does he want me to do about court and the house?

I know this was a hard time for you, my heart goes out to you and your family!!
The first thing that your father wants you to know is that he is sorry. He was in such a dark space that he didn’t know how to make the hurting end, so he chose the way he did. He never meant to hurt any of you by his choice. He felt that by leaving he was setting you and your family free from dealing with his own suffering, that he felt he was bringing upon you at the time. His choice was really one of love for you, even though you may not of felt it was.
Some people think that suicide is a the extreme act of selfishness. This is not always the truth. Sometimes it is an act of extreme love. Sometimes it is letting go so you can get on with your life without his pain.
Your father was in deep sorrow and pain in life, and he chose, with the Angels, that it was time for him to leave.
Anyone who chooses to end their life with their own hand, has a host of Angels with them. No one who takes their own life is alone at the time of death. Angels escorted him, and loved and honoured him, just as in any passing of human life.
He did come to you after his death, what you felt was correct. He still comes around you, he says when the lamp shades move and the lights move or flicker, that is him.
He wants you to know that he is free now, and is in a much better shape and condition to be the father that he felt he could never be. He can do now, what he never could.
As far as the court and the house is concerned, he is asking that you do what is best for you. He is saying “I left it so that you would get what is yours. The house is yours. Do with it what you want. Take care of your needs.”
He loves you so much, and this is what he is most concerned with, that you know he loves you, not loved, but loves you. He says “Don’t let a trickle of doubt cloud your windowpane”
Maggie, your Father is all around me, as he speaks to you, like a lambs fleece….he askes << not a typo<< that you remember your heritage, and be strong. Stronger than he was.
